This Dell external floppy cables for the laptop models listed below, Dell P/N: 053975. This cable is designed to allow you to connect a standard Dell internal floppy drive as an external floppy. This cable will let you keep a CD-ROM in the internal drive bay, while still having use of your floppy drive. This cable will not work for the internal CD-ROM, floppy disk drives only!
